I love the Epcot Flower & Garden show. It is such a great event for the whole family! Unfortunately, we aren’t able to make it there this time but I’m going to be sharing some fun ideas for enjoying this event with your kiddos ππ.
Topiary Displays
Everyone knows that Disney has amazing topiary designs & the ones created for the Flower & Garden show are incredible! Your little one will love that each topiary is based on a Disney classic so have them point out who they see & search for some of their fav characters. Also, not every topiary is in plain site so make sure you search all around Epcot so you don’t miss any π.
Fairy Houses Butterfly Garden
Do you see the fairy house? Look close, it’s easy to miss π! I love fairy gardens, the miniature little homes are absolutely adorable and, as you can imagine, the one that Disney creates for the Epcot Flower & Garden show is spectacular. The fairy homes are inside a walk through tent that is full of butterflies. If you are bringing a little one (or even if you aren’t!) make sure to check it out π.
Awesome Kid’s Play Areas
The Epcot Flower & Garden show is also a great place to find fun themed kid’s play areas. This was from a Monster’s University themed area (a couple years back) where they had a little play area set up on nice soft artificial turf so little ones could run around in a nice safe contained area. These areas are also nicely shaded so it’s a great break from the hot Florida sun βοΈ.
Outdoor Kitchens & Garden Inspiration
If you’re little one loves trying different food (or even if they don’t!) there are some great food options at the Epcot Flower & Garden show. As you wander around world showcase you will come across tons of different food to taste (some that you can’t get any other time of the year at Epcot) and many of them are very kid friendly. There are also lots of great displays and info around to help you, and your little one, feel inspired to bring some of these great garden ideas home.
Gardens of the World Tour
Have you ever wondered about what goes in to creating the amazing garden displays at the Epcot Flower & Garden show? Maybe you have questions for the gardeners themselves. If so, you should definitely consider the Gardens of the World Tour where you will get the chance to wander through the show before the park opens and be toured around by one of the gardeners actually involved in creating the amazing exhibits. You will also get to go behind the scenes and be given details about the displays you can’t find out anywhere else. This is definitely worth the time if you are interested in learning more about the amazing exhibits. One thing to note, this tour isn’t suitable for little ones so make sure you plan accordingly.ππΈπΊπΌ
