We love visiting EPCOT, it really has something for everyone and there’s so many great opportunities to learn while having fun. The Seas with Nemo & Friends, is one of our favourite spots to visit at EPCOT with our little guy, here are our top reasons why.
Finding Nemo- The Ride
This has to be one of my little guy’s fav rides! We probably go on it at least 4 times during our trip which is super easy to do since I don’t think we’ve ever waited more than 10 minutes for it. The ride starts with you boarding a slow moving clam shell that takes you through the story of Finding Nemo complete with animated characters and even an opportunity to surf with Crush and Squirt down the E.A.C. The ride finishes by dropping you off inside The Seas building which makes it the perfect way to start your under water adventure.
Turtle Talk with Crush
I’m amazed how long we went without seeing this show. It is SO MUCH FUN! My little guy grinned from ear to ear the entire time as Crush and friends interact with the audience asking & answering questions. There are even some surprise guests that make an appearance. The show is also quite educational as your little ones can ask Crush questions about being a sea turtle and living in the ocean which he will answer. This is a quick and easy show to get in to as there’s never much of a line, a definite must if you have a little one.
Amazing Underwater Life
The Seas with Nemo & Friends is home to one of the largest aquariums in the world so if you’re little one loves aquatic life (like my little guy does) they will be in heaven! There’s fish, sea turtles, dolphins & even sharks! Plus, for a super cool experience try visiting between 5:30-6:00 PM or 6:30-7:00 PM because this is when Disney has their ‘Dive Quest’ experience and your little one will actually get to see divers in the aquarium! Every kid LOVES this especially since the divers are always willing to wave hi to the kids which every kid thinks is pretty cool (especially if one of the divers happens to be your dad! )
Tropical fish and more!
Looking in the huge aquarium is amazing but sometimes little ones want to get a little more up close and personal with some of the fish. The tropical fish tanks are the perfect spot for your little one to get a closer look at some beautifully coloured fish as well as other sea life. There is also lots of info to be gathered throughout the building both about the underwater life and Disney’s conservation efforts that are reflected within The Seas.
Hang out with Bruce and his Shark Buddies!
Sometimes your little one just needs to let off a little steam and this is the perfect spot! You will find Bruce and his shark buddies in a huge sunken ship which is a great place for your little one to run, climb and play all while interacting with a very cool underwater display!
No matter which activity you choose to try at The Seas with Nemo & Friends your little one will love it, especially if they are a fan of ‘Finding Nemo’ and ‘Finding Dory’ (P.S. These picture are compiled from trips from three different years if you’re wondering why my little guy seems to have some major age discrepancies 😉
