Summer Fun for Kids in the GTA!



Summer is almost here and we have you covered! The sun is out and the weather is warming up which means I’m starting to plan summer activities! If you live in or are visiting the Toronto Area this summer I’ve put together a list of some of my favourite family friendly activities.

Canada’s Wonderland

We are so excited to be part of the Wonder Blogger team this year!  We have been season pass holders for years and have loved bringing out little guy to the park ever since he was a baby!  Canada’s Wonderland has sooo many rides, shows and activities for kids it really is the perfect family destination. Day out with Thomas- York-Durham Heritage Railway

Toronto Zoo

If your little one loves animals then they will love the Toronto Zoo!  We’ve been to Zoos all over the world and the Toronto Zoo still remains our favourite.  For some tips and suggestions for getting the most our of your visit, you can check out our full review.

Springridge Farm

There’s nothing more fun than getting outside to enjoy some fresh air on the farm! Springridge Farm has an awesome kid’s play area that’s open 7 days a week all summer long at a very reasonable price. Find out more here!

Bronte Creek Provincial Park

We love getting back to nature right in our own backyard and visiting Bronte Creek Provincial Park!  Plus, they have a HUGE outdoor pool open all summer long, the perfect family activity on a hot day.

Conservation Halton

Another one of our favourite spots to visit are the Conservation Halton Parks, especially Mountsberg and Crawford lake.  These parks are FULL of great events all year long and even if there’s nothing special going on they are always nice to visit just for a walk.

Royal Ontario Museum

What to do with a dino loving kiddo on a rainy day? Visit the Royal Ontario Museum! My little guy LOVES the museum, and there really is a lot for him to love!  Check out my full review for some tips for making your trip a super fun one!

Ontario Science Centre

Learning really CAN be fun at The Ontario Science Centre.  Between Imax movies and interactive displays your kiddo will have a total blast! Find out more here!

Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada

Do you want to see sharks, stingrays, fish and more?  Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada is HUGE and so well designed.  Every view is a good view and there are so many ways that little ones will be engaged in the experience.  Here are some of our tips!

Legoland Discovery Centre

If you’re looking for a great way to beat the heat and have a ton of fun check out the Legoland Discovery Centre in Vaughn.  We had so much fun when we visited earlier this year, find out more here.
